College Prepares for State Budget Cuts

Abstract:
Cloud County Community College recently held meetings with faculty and staff to address state budget cuts of over $140,000 in fiscal year 2009 and approximately $328,000 in fiscal year 2010.
The Kansas Board of Regents recently informed colleges across the state to expect a 3 percent cut in state aid this year and a 7 percent cut for next year....

It's unfortunate that budget cuts need to be made but that is the reality in our current economy and we have to make the most of it. Hopefully they'll figure out a way to make the cuts have a minimal effect on the quality of education provided.

I think that budget cuts will have negative influsnece on study.
