The 28th Annual CCCC Scholarship kicked off Saturday April 19, 2007 at the Concordia National Guard Armory.
The evening started off with a silent auction and was followed by dinner and a live auction. This year's Foundation Scholarship Auction raised $17, 693 for the general scholarship fund at Cloud County.

iCloud Transforms Enrollment Process

Cloud County has entered into the technological age with the unveiling of iCloud, the final stage of Jenzabar, a software program Cloud County bought nearly two years ago.
"It's definitely going to make things a lot more convenient for students, not only on this campus and at Geary, but especially for outreach student who won't have to travel to campus," Holly Andrews, Coordinator of Outreach Instruction said.

Sampler Festival to Come to Town

The 19th annual 2008 Kansas Sampler Festival will be held May 3-4 at the Concordia City Park. Concordia will be the first festival host north of I-70.
Over 140 communities in the state will set up exhibits for the public. Last year the event was held in Garden City with a public attendance of 7,400.

Bor, Mitchell Receive Watches at Kansas Relays

Freshman Julius Bor won himself a watch as he ran his way to a first-place finish at the 81st Annual KU Relays last Saturday.
Bor clocked his winning watch in a time of 4:03.99.
Nesky Metelus took sixth in the 100 meter race, running it in a time of 10.59.

Road Games End Winning Streak

The last few games have gone in favor of the T-Bird baseball team, but as they headed out west to face Dodge City Community College in weekend play, the Conquistadors would end the streak as they lost all four games of the road trip.
They lost the first meeting on Saturday, 11-4 , then narrowly fell in the second, 9-8.

Softball Drops Two Over the Weekend

The Cloud County Softball team's struggles continued over the weekend as they dropped two double headers at home against Garden City and then at Neosho County on Monday.
In the first doubleheader against the Lady Broncbusters the T-Birds could only get two runs to cross the plate as they dropped the contests 18-0 and 10-2 respectively.

Now on DVD is one of my new favorite movies, Juno. I had never seen the movie Juno, but I had heard it was good. I decided to buy it and see for myself. One thing that I have to love about Juno is that it is a comedy for both sexes, something everyone can enjoy.
